Karen Rolls is a novelist owned by a parti poodle named Gigi. They reside in the Pacific Northwest. Karen is a graduate the University of Washington where she double majored in Drama and English With a Writing Emphasis and earned a Certificate in Screenwriting. She also completed a Professional Actor Training Program at the National Shakespeare Conservatory in New York City. Before turning to novel writing, she wrote screenplays and short stories. But at the urging of Gigi she found her true passion in writing novels. Karen enjoys penning satires and dark comedies and has a weekly blog called Gigi Catches Air at gigicatchesair.com. Her first novel is Chicane. Under Gigi’s supervision she has written the Musicology book series.
